Alvin and the Chipmunks : The Squeakquel

Alvin and the Chipmunks : The Squeakquel is among Upcoming Hollywood Movies and sequel to Alvin and the Chipmunks(2007). The movie stars voices of Zachary Levi, Jason Lee, David Cross, Cameron Richardson, Wendie Malick Charice Pempengco and many others. The film is directed by Betty Thomas and story is written by a team of writers which include: Jonathan Aibel, Jon Vitti and Glenn Berger. Matt Friedman contributed to editing of the movie. The animated flick is rated PG for mild rude humor.

The film features Alvin and the Chipmunks and their female contestants. The movie brings back our favorite furry brothers, Alvin, Simon and Theodore. David Seville meets an accident and has to be hospitalized to get cure of injuries. Dave is a songwriter and father figure for these chipmunks. Dave finds these chipmunks very talented and sends them to school.

School presents new challenges to these tiny rock stars. They find human students around and has to deal with study pressure, sports and of course girls. The chipmunks have a lot of fun at school and give rise to many funny and interesting scenes. Ian Hawke, the chipmunks' former greedy manager feels jealous of their music talents and brings the chipettes Brittany, Jeanette and Eleanor who are full of music talents to produce challenge to Chipmunks' skills and fulfill his sworn revenge over Chipmunks.

The rivalry between the Chipettes and The Chipmunks start but finally they become great friends and give rise to a great musical team.

The computer animated movie will also feature performances by the winners of the third season of America's Best Dance Crew, Quest Crew.

20th Century Fox is the authorized distributor of the movie world wide. The movie is produced by Regency Enterprises and Bagdasarian Productions. It was originally scheduled to be premiered on March 19, 2010, but now it has been scheduled to release earlier and will see UK release on 21st December whereas it will be released in USA on December 23, 2009. The movie will surely take advantage of festive mood of people and will produce challenge for other Hollywood new releases.
